Dr Trent Dunlop BDSc
Trent graduated from University of Queensland in 1995. Since then Trent has been employed in private practice at Gatton, Ipswich and The Gap (Brisbane). In 2006 Trent teamed up with Michael Thorpe to form Newmarket Dental. He regularly attends continuing education programmes and has special interests in crown and bridgework, implant restoration and root canal therapy. Trent lives in Red Hill with his wife Sarah and two children, Abigail and Eliza. In his spare time Trent enjoys surfing, golf, music & chasing after his two girls.

Dr Michael Thorpe BDSc MBA
Michael graduated from University of Queensland in 1984. Michael practiced for 2 years in Maroochydore after graduation and then relocated to the UK for two years where he worked in private practice for two years. He then travelled to the USA and completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at UCLA. Michael returned to Australia in 1991 where he continued to practice dentistry and own and operate a number of businesses. Michael joint ventured with Trent Dunlop in 2006 to open Newmarket Dental. Michael enjoys all facets of dentistry and attends continuing education programmes. Michael lives in Ashgrove with his wife Antoinette and three children, Tom, Jack and Finn. His interests include sport, business, travel and reading.

Dr Joanne Mattner BDSc
Joanne completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland in 1989. She has recently joined Newmarket Dental after having worked in both a variety of private and public practices around South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Joanne is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Prosthodontic Association and regularly attends continuing education programs. Joanne's interests include conservative family dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Joanne has been married for 18 years and has two teenage daughters. In her free time Joanne enjoys playing netball, cooking, swimming and loves working in the garden.

Luisa White
Luisa is our Practice Manager and has had extensive experience in the Dental Industry. She began Dental Nursing in 1996 and has since worked with many general Dentists and Dental Specialists including Oral Surgeons and Root Canal Specialists. She has been a Senior Dental Nurse for many years training and supervising new staff and has recently made the switch to the front desk operations. In her spare time, Luisa is always on the go spending time with her new husband, Neville. She is our friendly first point of contact, and is always ready to help you with any questions and greet you with a smile.

Carrie Zarzycki
Carrie is our Senior Dental Nurse and has worked with Dr Michael Thorpe for 4 years at both his Milton practice, and now at Newmarket Dental. She has had over 20 years experience in the industry and has a wealth of knowledge of anything dental. Her calm and soothing demeanor is extremely well received by children and she particularly enjoys helping those patients who are a bit nervous and need a bit of encouragement. Carrie was born in the United Kingdom and immigrated to South Africa as a child. She has been living in Australia with her husband and two children since 2000. In her spare time, Carrie loves to bake for friends, and of course the Newmarket Dental Team!

Susheen Castle
Susheen is the newest member of the Newmarket Dental team and comes to us with many years experience as a Dental Nurse. She has been dental nursing in and around Brisbane for eight years and has worked with many general Dentists as well as Orthodontists and Oral Surgeons. In her spare time Susheen enjoys dining out and spending time with her fiancée, Andrew.
